Donna Bryan Bryant, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in McAlester, OK. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Hartley Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will follow at the Hartley Cemetery under the care of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas. Donna Jeanne Bryan was born November 29, 1931 in Stratford, TX to Henry and Viola (Hamilton) Bryan. She graduated from Dalhart High School in 1949. Donna worked at the telephone company in Amarillo before marrying Grady Goode Bryant in 1953. She was a homemaker before she started working at Thompson Grain & Fertilizer, then she became Chief County Appraiser for Hartley County, after retiring she moved to McAlester, OK. She was a member of the Hartley Christian Fellowship Church, where she taught Sunday School. Donna Loved Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys as well as being an avid Hartley Basketball fan! She is survived by her ~ Daughter and son in law Cindy and Joel Chisum of McAlester, Oklahoma; Daughter Carrie Bryant of McAlester, OK; granddaughter and spouse Katy and James Ginther of Brush , CO; granddaughter and spouse Mattie and Justin Murley of Edmond, OK; granddaughter Callie Chisum of New Braunfels, TX; and three great granddaughters Josie Ginther and Ada Ginther of Brush, CO, Molly Murley of Edmond, OK and a great grandson Chisum Murley of Edmond, OK Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Grady, and a daughter Sandy Bryant.
