With heavy hearts, the family of Devin Joseph Lee Wimer announces his passing at the young age of 21. Devin was born on July 8, 2004, in Longmont, CO to Kellie “Michi” Benson and Randy Wimer Jr. A graduate of Greeley, CO and a member of Refuge City Church, he built relationships and bonds with many that loved him dearly. Memorial services for Devin are currently pending and will be announced at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Devin loved to tinker with many things and had a passion for auto mechanics, doing puzzles, and playing a tune on his guitar. Most of all he enjoyed sitting with family eating a homecooked meal made with love by his momma Kellie.

Devin is survived by his father, Randy Wimer Jr, mother, Kellie “Michi” Benson and stepfather, Levi Benson, grandparents, Laural Wimer, and Joe Amador; his siblings Heaven, Oceanna, Allica, Phoenix, Xayva, Levi, and Raeyn Benson of Dalhart, TX; two nephews Jacksyn and Arés; his cousin Landon Nelson; his aunts Shannon Wimer and Angela Gehrig; his uncle Shawn McPherson; and many friends that quickly became family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Randy Wimer Sr., his grandfather Jim Benson, and his grandmother Colleen McPherson.

Though his life was cut short, he made a lifetime of memories that will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
