Delbert Tague, 71, died on Friday, March 2, 2007 in Dalhart, TXServices were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church in Dalhart Texas.Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TexasRusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas officiated.Delbert Eugene Tague as born on January 23, 1935 in Springfield, CO. to Ray Red and Beatrice M Tague. Delbert was raised in Springfield and graduated from High school there. He then attended college in Montana. He met Shirley Donahoo in Dalhart and they were married on December 28, 1956 in Clayton, NM. They had lived in Dalhart since they were married. Shirley died on May 26, 1999. A Charter member of the Elks, Mr. Tague was a retired volunteer fireman. In 1970 he was baptized at the Lincoln Street Baptist Church and has been a member since. Preceded in death by his parents and his wifeSurvivors include his Daughter - Debra Wilkinson and her husband Matt of Amarillo, TX and 1 son - Dennis Tague and his wife Cheryl of Aurora, IL. A Sister: Loretta Kirkland of Johnson, KS and 2 brothers: Bill Tague of LaJunta, CO and Bob Tague of Dalhart, TX 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
