David (Pete) Vincent, 65, of Hartley died Sunday, January 2, 2005.Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Hartley, with Brother Roy Almaroad officiating. Burial was in Hartley Cemetery. Mr. Vincent was born on May 10, 1939, in Channing, TX to Roy and Bessie Vincent. He graduated from Hartley High School in 1957. He married Mary Cook in 1961. He joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Hood, TX until being honorably discharged. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartley, TX.He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and beside Vincent, and two brothers Robert Vincent and Calvin Vincent. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mary; five sons, David Vincent Jr. and wife Christina of Canyon, Scott Vincent and wife Lori of Channing, Russell Vincent and wife Tammy of Amarillo, Jason Vincent and wife Susie of Brownfield, and Toby Vincent and wife Rebecca of Amarillo; one brother, Don Vincent of Dalhart, and seven grandchildren.The family suggests donations be to Memorial Hospice (209 S.
