David Henry Peeples, 63 died on Monday, January 10, 2005 in Dalhart, TexasServices were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the First Baptist Church Dalhart, Texas - burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.David Henry Peeples was born in Dalhart, TX February 11, 1941 to Henry & Catherine Peeples. He was a third generation Dalhartan being a grandson of pioneer families Dave & Nellie Childers and W. L. & Mary Bell Peeples. David graduated from Dalhart High School in 1960. He served in the Navy from 1961-1963. Upon discharge he returned to Dalhart and worked for Pete Metcalf at Dalhart Butane. He married Barbara Fowler in 1965. He established Peeples Irrigation in 1979 which continues today with his son. He enjoyed the game of golf with his many friends, and took great joy and pride in his children and grandchildren.
