Danny Caylor, 68 of Channing, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Channing with Pastor Jacob Vincent officiating. Interment will follow in Channing Cemetery. Mr. Caylor will lie in state from 4 o' clock until 8 o' clock in the evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Danny Mile Caylor was born in Kansas City, MO to Harvey Caylor and Joyce OConnor. He was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed many hobbies and had many occupations. Danny enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, practical jokes, and hunting. He loved his family very much. He is preceded in death by his father: Harvey Miles Caylor; his mother: Joyce Elaine OConnor; one sister: Debra Ann Rodriguez; two brothers: Jerry Dean McGinnis and Hubbert Dwayne McGinnis; one aunt: Pat Jean Caylor; one uncle: Clifford Caylor; grandmother: Milered Barbary. Danny is survived by two daughters: Joyce Castillo and husband Martin of Channing, TX and Dana Caylor and wife Regina Howell of Koshkonong, MO; siblings: Harvey Lee Caylor and wife Laura of Lincoln, MO, Linda DeFord of Fairfax, MO, Cinda Godbehere and husband Don, of Blackwell, OK, Kerry Sue Beber of Story City, IA, Jacob Lobb of Columbus, OH, James Lobb and wife Johanna of Clayton, NM, Angela Dickerson and husband Robert of Independence, MO, and Gary McGinnis of Independence, MO; thirteen grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren and many other family members.
