Richard Danny Bush, 64, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 in Amarillo, TexasMemorial Services were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX.Officiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, TXRichard Danny Bush was born January 20, 1947 in Dalhart, Texas to Richard Alton and Trevious Jean (Doss) Bush. He grew up in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1966 where he earned All State full back for the Dalhart Wolves. He married Joann Mullin in 1966 and they had one daughter Stacey. Danny raised his family in Dalhart where he worked at the Coca Cola Plant and as a city police officer. Danny was talented with his hands and found his calling as a mechanic. People often said theres nothing he cant fix Danny loved hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was an avid golfer, reader and artist, his specialty was landscapes.Survivors include his daughter Stacey and her husband Mike Ford of Dalhart, TX. His father Richard A Bush and sister Deena Parker both of Dalhart, TX. 2 grandsons Cameron and Kaden Ford 5 Nieces Tamela and her husband Kevin Rodgers, Stephanie and her husband Jarrett Ledbetter, Sharesa and her husband Colin McCartt, Melissa and her husband Jamal Wimberly and Brandie Parker1 Nephew John and his wife Suzanne ParkerHe is preceded in death by his mother Trevious (Jean) Bush, 1 brother Rex Bush, 1 sister Lorraine Frazier and 1 niece Pamela Frazier.
