Dan Hall, 56, died on Sunday, June 24, 2012 near Goodwell, OKGraveside Services were held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas.Officiating will be Barry Walker, Minister Corpus Christi, TXDanny Joe Hall was born September 14, 1955 in Dalhart, TX to Jim D. and Lyndell McBrayer Hall. He attended public schools in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1975.In 1980 Dan graduated from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN and later joined the US Marines.He returned to Dalhart and worked as a carpenter before going to work for the UP RR in 1994.Dan was an instructor for Operation Lifesaver, a lifetime member of the First Christian Church where he had served on many boards and committees, an avid Harley Rider and enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. He is survived by his mother, Lyndell McBrayer Hall of Dalhart; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; Preceded in death by- his father Jim D. Hall and his brother Jim C. Hall: his grandparents Vernon and Willa Hall and Luke and Mildred McBrayer; aunts, Betty Mercer, Zola Faye and her husband David Johnson and an uncle Charles Hall.
