Dale Schriber Jr., 71 of Dalhart, TX passed away on September 9, 2022. He was born on July 3, 1951, in Guymon, OK to Dale Sr. and Kathryn Schriber. Dale was raised in Stratford, TX and lived and worked in Amarillo, TX for many years, before moving to Dalhart.
Dale worked for Roberts and then Miller Paper Companies for 25 plus years in Amarillo. He also served 17 years as a high school football official with the Amarillo chapter, winning the "Excellence in Officiating and Chapter Service" award in 1999. Dale loved officiating Texas high school football, but his real love was watching and cheering on his kids and grandkids as they competed in their respective sports, over many years. Dale loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we take comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing in Heaven with Him now.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Kathryn, two brothers, Johnny and Jimmy, and one sister, Raedeane.
Dale is survived by one brother, Jack Schriber and wife Dickie of Guymon, OK, one sister, Kay Tharp of Yukon, OK, one brother-in-law, Jimmy Gupton of La Vernia, TX, one sister-in-law, Phyllis Claycomb of Guymon, OK, three children, Jennifer Hodo and husband Brad of Camas, WA, Jason Schriber and wife Heather of Dalhart, TX, and Jared Schriber and wife JoBeth of Bowie, TX, 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
