Dale Reagan 64, died Friday October 3, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services were held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. Billy Rammage. After the service the family gathered for a private burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were overseen by Horizon Funeral Home. Dale Reagan was born December 14, 1949 in Dalhart, TX to Joe Sie Milton and Annie B. (Williams) Reagan. The family lived, outside Perico, TX near the Bunker Hill Community. He graduated from Texline schools. He then started college at Panhandle State in Goodwell, OK. Dale later attended the Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana. He served in the United States National Guard.Dale married Leslie Turpin in Felt, OK on his birthday, December 14, 1974; they both had been married previously bringing to the marriage three children, Kristen Dalene Reagan, Timarra Lee and Alan Loy Newman. Dale and Leslie had two daughters Tatum Teneke and Tiffany Jolene Reagan.Dale worked for a hay operation at the time and then went to work for Vanus Byrd farming outside of Dalhart. They moved to Felt, OK for two years and then moved back to Dalhart in 1976. He then fulfilled his dream of going to auctioneer school and together with Bob Brown they started Reagan & Brown Auctioneers. Dale was in the auction business for 19 years. In 1997 he went to work for Panhandle Implement in Guymon, OK. After starting this job he moved to Stratford. Three years later he went to work for Gustin Equipment in Dalhart. After Gustin buying out Panhandle Implement Dale went back to work in Guymon. In 2009 he semi-retired after a bout with pneumonia and worked from home until his death.Survivors include his wife of the home, 4 daughters; Kristen Townsend, Timarra Hodges and fiance Harold Byfield, Tatum Teneke Aitson and husband Jeremy, Tiffany Smith and husband Kelby, brother Gary and wife Judi Reagan, grandchildren; Justin Reagan, Travis Townsend, Kaycee Keith, Kelsey Gray, Koby Hodges, Blake Byfield, MaKenna Aitson, Braxton Reagan, and Emberson Smith, and great grandson Bentley Hodges, numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and son Alan Loy Newman.Memorials may be made to:XIT Rodeo and Reunion1004 Maple Ave.Dalhart, TX 79022
