Curtis Randall Flowers, 74, died Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Dalhart, Texas. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.Curtis Randell Flowers was born on October 22, 1941 to John Milton Flowers and Lucille Avert. Curtis was born and raised in Dumas, Texas. He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. He married Barbara Harmon on May 16, 1975 in Clayton, NM and together they raised two sons. Curtis drove a truck for many years, worked for Plains Supply and was the owner of Flowers Trucking. Curtis and Barbara enjoyed square dancing together and loved spending time with their grandkids. Curtis is survived by his wife, Barbara of Dalhart, Texas, 2 sons- Scott Byers and his wife Callie of Dallas, Texas and John Flowers and his wife, Trisha of Amarillo, Texas. Also by his sisters- Marilyn Pettit of Dumas, Texas and Joan Holbrook of Moody, Texas as well as 4 grandchildren- Gabriel, Piper and Jade Flowers of Amarillo and Jackson Byers of Dallas, Texas. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John M. Flowers, Jr.
