Officiating Fr. Joel Bugas, Pastor - St. Francis Xavier Church, Clayton, NM. Chencho was born April 9, 1933 in Edcouch, TX to the late Maria Ramos and Miguel Mariscal. Chencho married Rosa Solis June 3, 1956 in Edcouch, and they both moves to Dalhart in 1971. Chencho worked as a farm hand for many years in the Dalhart area. Chencho attended St Anthony's Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all. Chencho was a hard worker and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Chencho remarried Celia Ochoa in 1996.Crescencio is survived by his wife Celia Mariscal of Dalhart; son James and his wife Anita Mariscal of Dalhart; daughter Mary and her husband Gilbert Gallegoes of Amarillo; daughter Carmen and her husband Barney Basaldua of Dalhart ; daughter Rosa and her husband Johnny Cordova of Claude TX; son Junior and his wife Veronica of Dalhart and a step-daughter Gabriela Pastrana of Dalhart.18 Grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Rosa Solis, a brother and two sisters, and a great grandson.
