Survivors include her son Mike Whitby of Dalhart - Grandchildren - Dana & Kurtis Abla of Dalhart, Kathy & Tracey Hinkle of Parker, CO., Nikki & Creighton Alexander of Laurence, KS; and DJ Strong of San Antonio. Great Grandchildren: Madison & JD Abla, Canon, Whitby & Cosmo Alexander, Josh, Jacob & Jesse Hinkle.Preceded in death by her husband, Kay Whitby & daughter, Pam Strong Francione.Coye was born in Texhoma, TX on October 6, 1916 to John Henry & Freddie McClendon. She attended Dalhart Schools and was graduated in 1933. Coye was a member of the First Christian Church. She was an avid golfer, bridge player & a homemaker.
