Stevens, Retired Minister Dumas, Texas Coralyn Joy Hutson was born April 11, 1935 in Tulia, TX to Everett R. and Cora Irene (Hooper) Hutson. Raised in Tulia she graduated from Tulia High School in 1953. Coralyn married Clifford Powers on December 3rd, 1955 in Locust Grove, OK. They moved to Hartley in 1966, she worked for the Hartley Independent School System for over 27years. Coralyn was an active member of the Dumas First Assembly of God and enjoyed all types of handiwork from crochet to sewing and scrap-booking. In the last few years her passion for family (especially her grand and great-grand children) has led her to a new hobby Genealogy. Survivors include Husband Clifford Powers of Hartley, TX - Daughters: Shirley and her husband Mark Kinney of Amarillo, TX and Karen Hodge of Amarillo, TX Sons: Clifford Alan and his wife Theresa Powers of Macon, GA and Barry and his wife Cara Powers of Hartley, TX 2 sisters: Jeanne and Darlene - 6 brothers:Randal, Leldon, Royce, Johnny, Van and Wendall 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren Preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Dwayne and Jimmy Dee.
