Clifford B. Love, 91 of Dalhart formerly Aurora, Colorado, passed away on May 30, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM on June 30, 2023 at Hillside Christian Church with Keith Feerer officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Clifford was born on September 26, 1931 to Ralph and Stella Love in Logan, NM. After honorably serving in the United States Army, he married his best friend, the love of his life, and his soulmate, Betty Ann, on August 14, 1954 in Portsmouth, OH. They spent over 68 years together and made many unforgettable memories, as one can only imagine. Clifford enjoyed fishing, building just about anything, and scratch off tickets. He built everything from a playhouse for his great granddaughter to the Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado, to power plants and hydroelectric plants. Clifford was proud of the fact he was able to employ his sons, sons-in-law and even grandsons. Above all he cherished every moment he got to spend with his family. Mr. Love will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Stella Love; one son: Rick Love; one grandson: Brady Sewell; and several brothers and sisters. Clifford is survived by his wife: Betty Ann of the home; children: Sherry Sewell and husband Rodney of Dalhart, Dick Love and wife Tammy of Aurora, CO, Kenny Love of Aurora, CO, Sandra Love of Kiowa, CO and Chuck Love of Aurora, CO, one sister: Janet Bradshaw; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
