Clayton Samuel Getz, age 30 years old of Dalhart, formerly of Spearman, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at the home of his sister and brother-in-law following a long illness.

Clayton was born October 15, 1994, in Beaver, Oklahoma and lived in Spearman, Texas most of his life before moving to Dalhart seven months ago. He enjoyed gaming, singing, and making others laugh. Clayton was very self-less and had a huge heart. He adored his nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his grandparents: Altamae and Robert Getz, and Curtis Russel and Ola Russell. Clayton is survived by his parents: Roger and Bonnie (Russell) Getz of Spearman; brother, Jesstin Getz of Spearman; sisters: Nichole (Robert) Butman of Gruver, Texas, and Kassandra (Larry) Thomas of Dalhart; nephews and nieces: Robert Russell, Anthony Russell, Nathaniel Ramirez, Kaedin Oltman, Alissa Oltman, Caden Thomas, and Cassy (Martin) Loedolff; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and gaming friends around the world.
