Clarion (Coe) Jeanette Barker Beverly was born on May 28th 1929. She was born to Marion T. Barker and Ellen Ruth Brace Barker. Coe passed into glory on October 2, 2022 at the age of 93. Services are pending. Coe graduated from Logan High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force. After four years of service, Coe went to work for Rock Island Railroad where she met the love of her life, Loyd Beverly. Coe and Loyd married and enjoyed 52 years together before his death in 2011. When Coe wasnt at work, keeping the railroaders in line, she could be found working cattle or riding horses. Everyone who knew Coe, knew that she was an amazingly strong woman. She faced each challenge in life, head on, and maintained her sense of humor in the process. Without even knowing it, Coe inspired everyone around her to work hard, be faithful, and to choose joy through difficulties. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. She is survived by her sisters, Juanita Porter of Dalhart, TX and Marion Ruth Simon of Logan, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents; Marion T. Barker and Ellen Ruth Brace Barker, her brother; William Word Barker, her niece; Rebecca Ruth Simon, her brother-in-law; Wendell Porter, and her sister-in-law; Brenda Barker.
