Choice Barrow, 73, died on Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Dalhart, Texas.Funeral Services were held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Dalhart with Jimmy Reese of Amarillo, TX -Rodney Weatherly, pastor and Bob McAlister, Sr. Adult Minister First Baptist Church of Dalhart officiating. Choice Barrow was born June 11, 1935 in Tioga, Texas to Ervin and Hazel (Rollins) Barrow. He grew up in Dalhart and was the long-time owner of Choice's Mens Wear. Mr. Barrow served on the Dalhart City Council, as well as President of The Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce. He and Yvonne Horton were married on July 14, 1956 in Plainview, TX. Choice is survived by his wife Yvonne Barrow, daughter Kathy Crabb of Dallas, and her husband Byron Crabb, his daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Susie and Steve Handley of Alpine Texas. His two sisters, Marlene Key of Dumas and Betty Lou Longpine of Hays Kansas, his four grandchildren, Sherrill Barrow of Amarillo, Will Handley of Alpine Texas, Brady and Ryan Crabb of Dallas Texas.He is preceded in death by his son, Stanley Barrow and his parents.
