Chester D. Dulaney Age: 89 Died - Sunday, February 01, 2004 in Dalhart, TexasGraveside Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 3rd, 2004 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas.Officiating: Joe Billups, Chaplain Dalhart, TXBiography Chester D. Dulaney was born April 2, 1914 in Dalhart, TX to F.D. & Alice (Richardson) Dulaney. Chester attended schools in Dalhart and in 1942 he joined the U.S. Army he served in the Battle at Guadalcanal and Solomon Islands Campaign. He was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Dulaney worked for the Stewarts before and after he served in the Armed Forces. In 1947 he moved with the Stewarts to Alamosa, CO and worked on the Zapata ranch. Chester loved to cook, play golf, and fly fish. He was well known in Alamosa for his Chili, Candy and card games.
