Cheryl Saul, 70, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Dalhart, TexasServices were held at 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Graveside services were held at 2:30 PM CDT (1:30 pm MDT) in the Logan Cemetery, Logan, NM under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXOfficiating was Brian Walton, Associate Pastor First Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Cheryl Dorene Stacy was born June 5, 1944 in Tucumcari, NM to Pete and Roosa (Wilson) Stacy. Cheryl grew up in Tucumcari and on February 3, 1988 she married Murray T. Saul in Vega, TX. She and Murray made their home in Dalhart, where she enjoyed being a homemaker as well as a home health caretaker.Cheryl truly loved and enjoyed her family. Survivors include her husband Murray of Dalhart, a daughter Joni Horner of Dalhart, sons- David Morris and wife Kristine , Shane Saavedra and wife Michelle, Stacy Saavedra and wife Paulinna all of Dalhart. stepsons Doug Saul and wife Tracee of Clovis, NM, Andy Saul of Grady, NM. Sisters Laverna Ellis of Portales, NM, Tony Byrd and husband Lester and Doranna White and husband Joe both of Tucumcari, NM as well as a brother Johnny Stacy and wife Susan of San Jon, NM. 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Jackie Holder.
