Charlie McClain, 72 of Dalhart, passed away on June 8, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entirsted to Horizon Funeral Home. Charlie was born on August 18, 1949 to Corwin George Sr. and Marion McClain in Joliet, IL. Charlie was a very smart and wise man. After high school, he went on to earn his bachelors degree in biology. Charlie loved listening to music especially classic rock and enjoyed playing all kinds of games. He was just a down to earth, loving, kind man. He is preceded in death by his parents; and all his siblings: john Albert, George, Barbara, Marilyn and Corwin George Jr.; one nephew: Victor and one niece: Rebecca. Charlie is survived by his nieces and nephews: Mike, Susie, Patty, Martha, Robert, Marcy, Victoria, Adam, John, Chris, Karen, Richard, Kathy, and Ronnie. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Legacy Assisted Living and Coon Memorial Home for making Uncle Charlies stay there comfortable and making him happy. Pending Service
