Charles Hall,77, died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart, Texas Service were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2004 at the Dalhart Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, in Dalhart, TXOfficiaant was John Miller, Minister of the Dalhart Church of the NazareneSurvivors are his wife Dorothy of the home, Daughter: Dwain & Deanna (Hall) Skipworth of Anchorage, AK., Sons: Sherry & David Hall of Flower Mound, TX & Karen & Ray Hall of Eagle River, AK Brother: Dale & his wife Patricia Hall of Richardson, TX Sister in Law: Lyndell Hall of Dalhart & Nephews: John hall of Richardson, TX, Dan & Jim Hall also of Dalhart. 7 Grandchildren & Six Great-GrandchildrenPreceded in death by- his parents Vernon & Willa and a brother Jimmy Dean Hall (1992) Charles Alfred Hall was born November 10, 1927 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Vernon A. Hall & Willa M. (Rumley). Charles graduated from high school in El Monte California and married Dorothy Mulqueen in 1945. In 1946 Charles was inducted into the U.S. Army and was sent to Yokohama Japan as part of the occupational peace keeping forces. Charles & Dorothy have lived in Dalhart since 1958. Charles worked for Dalhart Butane & Equipment for 35 years, retiring in 1989. Charles loved to work with his hands. His pleasure was to build things, not necessarily for their use, but for the satisfaction of a job well done. Charles pride and joy was rebuilding cars. Ford Model As & Ts were his specialty. Charles was happiest at home and working in his shop.
