Carolina D. Olivo Romero, 73, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Stratford, TXGraveside Services were held at 3:00 pm (CDT) Monday, August 22, 2011 in Clayton Memorial Cemetery, Clayton, NM Carolina Dulcinea Olivo Romero was born October 19, 1937 in Roy, New Mexico to Moises and Isabelle (Arguello) Romero. Raised in Roy, at 17 she married Ernest Wheeler and they moved to Dalhart, TX where they lived until 1983. Carolina moved to California where she raised her children. She was a hard worker and did her best as she worked many hours between 3 jobs from working the fields, Elder care giver and mother ( her children never went without). In 2007 she returned to Dalhart. Survivors include her Son: Ernest Wheeler of Tulare, CA, Daughters Sarah Moreno of Stratford, TX, Beatrice Garcia of Tulare, CA, Florence Wheeler of North Dakota, Tina Wheeler of Dalhart, TX and Elizabeth Carr of North Dakota. 18 grandchildren 20 great grandchild, her sisters: Viola Abeyta of Stratford, TX and Lorene Montoya of Dalhart, TX and her brother: Tito Romero of Guymon, OK She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons Roberto Olivo, Jr. and Tony Wheeler Sr. four brothers: Pete Romero, Moises Romero, Rudy Romero and Cristobal Romero.
