Carolina P. Galdean, a longtime resident of Dalhart, Texas, died on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the age of 80. Rosary service was held at 2:00 p.m. with mass at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Carolina was born in Mexico on December 13, 1940. In May of 1964, she married Trinidad Galdean. In 1974, she and her family moved to Dalhart and established their home. Carolina was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed teaching Spanish at DISD. She enjoyed spending time in helping raise her grandchildren. She found entertainment and friendship at the local game rooms and coffee shops. She loved animals and nature and was a lifelong child of God. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Carolina is survived by her six children: Jesse, Trinidad, Carolina, Rick, Tony, and Paul. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren. Carolina is preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Galdean, and her parents.
