Carol Anne Marquez "Nana" went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 2, 2021 at the age of 60. Carol "Nana" was blessed with a loving family who will continue to make positive impacts as she did in His name. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Richard Rodriguez will officiate. Carol was born October 13, 1960 in Springer, NM to Rose Vigil and the late Steve D. Vigil. She graduated from Mosquero High School. Carol married Alex Marquez and had 5 children whom she was very proud and grateful of. She attended Trinity Fellowship in Amarillo, TX. Carol was sweet, loyal, loving, kind, and passionate in her love for Jesus. She felt rewarded helping others and found passion in healthcare as a patient caretaker. Above all, Carol believed in Jesus Christ and found family as her pride and joy. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Survivors include her mother, Rose Vigil, daughters: Denise Hall and husband Jeremy; Amanda Marquez and significant other Bobby Stull; Kimberly Arrington and husband Joe; sons: Bryan Marquez and significant other Jenna Parrish; Adam Marquez and wife Lorena. Nana was the beloved grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Two sisters: Cindy Martinez and Angela Bransten; two brothers: Rueben and Leonard Vigil and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Steve D. Vigil; and a sister, Mary Loretta Vigil. "I have glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do."
