Carol Jean Eads, 76, died Monday, April 16, 2007 in Dalhart, TX Services were held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the Texline United Methodist Church, Texline, Texas with Jeff Bayley and John Wade officiating; Burial followed in the Texline Cemetery. For the Convenience of the Texline Community Carol Jean Eads will be in state starting at 10:00 am Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Texline.Carol Jean Lindsey was born April 3rd, 1931 in Pampa, Texas to John and Jessie (Colwell) Lindsey. Raised in Texline, she graduated from Clayton High School. On February 3rd, 1950 she married Bernard Eads in Clayton, NM. Carol Jean will be remembered as a true giver of her heart by putting others before herself she made sure everyone was fed and taken care of. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she dedicated her life to her family. For over a half century she has been a member of the Order of the Easter Star, active member of the Texline United Methodist Church. Carol Jeans love for birds and flowers encouraged her unbelievable talent for oil painting and china painting.
