Carmen Hall, 74, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Amarillo, TXFuneral Services were held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Hartley Fellowship Church in Hartley, TX, with burial in Hartley Cemetery in Hartley, Texas.Carmen Herrera-Hall was born in Santa Maria del Oro Durango, Mexico on March 20th , 1935. She was one of 10 children born to Usebio and Herlinda Barraza. As a girl, Carmen played in the mountains of Parral, Mexico. She later moved to Cuidad Juarez, Mexico where she received a degree in Business from the Business Institute in 1953. She married Raymond W. Hall of Dalhart, TX in 1964.The family lived for a short time in Dalhart, TX prior to moving to Hartley, TX in 1970. Carmen worked for Hartley Schools until her retirement in 1999. Carmen remained in Hartley until the spring of 2009 when she moved to Amarillo, TX to be near her family. She is survived by her daughters (see listing above). Survivors include her daughters - Bertha Allen of Dumas, TX , Christina Vincent of Amarillo, TX and Carmelita Gage of Bryan, TX Granddaughters Alexis Allen of Dumas, TX, Tiffiny Vincent of College Station, TX and Grace Gage of Bryan, TX .
