Calvin Ray Weatherford, 53 of Dalhart, passed away on September 27, 2023. No Services will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Calvin was born on February 22, 1970, to Roy and Gladys Weatherford in Dalhart, Texas. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 1988 then went on to school in Liberal, Kansas to become a diesel mechanic. Calvin worked for John Deer for several years until venturing off on his own in 2001 when he started his own business, 4 Way Ag in Amarillo, Texas. He was in business till early 2022. Calvin enjoyed being in lawn mower races and was in a trike club that built their own 3-wheel trikes and rode in parades. Calvin and dad, Roy, enjoyed entering barbecue cook offs and won several of them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Weatherford and Gladys Moling Weatherford. He is survived by a brother, Trace of Amarillo, two nephews, Jayce and Caleb Weatherford of Amarillo, and one niece Lily Weatherford of Amarillo.
