Calvin Eugene Genn, 84, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Dalhart, TXCremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday the 21st of June at the Lincoln Street Baptist Church.Calvin Eugene Genn was born April 8, 1926 in Springer, OK to Oscar and Mattie (Holidy) Genn. He was raised around Ardmore, OK. Calvin married Elsie May Burton on January 8, 1955 in Clovis, NM. They moved to Clayton in 1985. Mr. Genn ranched in Eastern New Mexico for many years and enjoyed horses and being outdoors.Calvin is survived by 2 sons: Scott Genn of Pueblo, CO and Roy Griggs and his wife Terry of Dalhart, Texas and a sister Brenda and her husband Don Galloway of Texline, TX. Brothers Frank O. Genn of Amarillo, TX and Billy R. Genn of Waco, TX and 1 sister Pauline Davis of Amarillo, TX . Numerous - grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
