Burl Muno, 81 of Amarillo, formerly of Dalhart, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 11 o' clock in the morning on Friday, August 6, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Burl was born in Lenore, OK, on November 28, 1939. After graduation, he moved to Dalhart where he met and married the love of his life, Sheila Jean Ritter, on March 18, 1965. He served in the US Army, but he was best known as a master mechanic who loved working with his hands and spending time on his farm. Burl is survived by his wife Sheila and their three children: Travis Muno and wife Marci, Stacy Groves and husband Rob, and Tracy Muno and wife Brooke. He was also the beloved Papa to his precious granddaughters: Meredith Muno, Kyria Noble, Catherine Muno, Piper Noble, Emily Noble, Jocelyn Muno, and Kristen Muno.
