Buford Paul Schwarz, 88, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Dalhart, TXFuneral Services were held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Spiritual Life Center (3560 FM 281, Dalhart, TX 79022) with Leon Laney, Pastor, officiating. Buford Paul Schwarz was born January 6, 1925 in Wakita, OK to Louis and Margaret (Peters) Schwarz. Buford was a Cowboy and a Minister ( A modern day Circuit Rider). A member of the Spiritual Life Center, and a US Army Veteran, Buford started churches from Wyoming to South Texas. Buford married Alena Laney on July 21, 1980 in Clayton, NM. He and his family originally moved to Dalhart in the early 80s and returned to Dalhart in 2001. Buford was preceded in death by his first wife Bobbie Jean, his sons : James Dale and John Gale Schwarz, a granddaughter Elisabeth Bohnert, his parents and 2 sisters. He leaves behind his wife Alena Schwarz , a son David and his wife Yonda Schwarz of St. Louis, MO, his daughters Debi and her husband Curtis Chance of Phillipsburg, KA, Becky and her husband Darin Parker of Quanah, TX, Connie and her husband Eddie Clark of Bedford, TX and Dona Morrow of Austin, TX and Sheila and her husband Tim Yee of Dalhart, TX. 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
