Buena Breitling, 90, died Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Lubbock, TXA Memorial Service was held at 10:30 am, Friday, April 5, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, 1818 4th Ave., Canyon, TX. Buena Vista Walker was born November 22, 1922 in Kingsmill, TX to Amos and Vista (Guinn) Walker. Buena was raised in the Texas Panhandle and graduated from NW Texas School of Nursing. She married James Breitling on June 5, 1947 in Amarillo, TX. Mrs. Breitlings nursing career spanned nearly 3 decades. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart, TX.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and 1 brother. Survivors include her sons: Douglas Breitling and his wife Beverly of Eureka Springs, AR, Mike Breitling and wife Susie of Dalhart, TX, Randy Breitling and wife Debbie of Shallowater, TX and Anthony Breitling and wife Janice of Groom, TX. 8 Grandchildren Toni Breitling, Cara Breitling, Jana Breitling, Kalynn Breitling Kulhavy , Ann-Claire Breitling Gustin, Meredith Breitling, Kristen Breitling Gallegos, and Conner Breitling and 2 Great- Grandchildren Sam Gustin and Thatcher Kulhavy.
