Brenda McDill, 64, passed away Monday, November 02, 2020 in Dalhart, Texas. A memorial service will be held at Newlife in Dalhart, Texas on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Brenda was born to Ralph Pope and Shirley (Dodd) Foster in Amarillo, Texas on Monday, July 9, 1956. She married Terry McDill on July 3, 1993 in Louisville, Mississippi. Brenda first and foremost loved her God. She had a true faith in her Lord and Savior. Brenda had a love for her family that was so fierce as well as for anyone she came into contact with. She was a true giver who got great joy out of giving to anyone who was willing to receive. She never met a stranger and if she did, they quickly became family. Brenda loved her Sonic sweet teas, which she had every day. She loved her LC Shopping channel. She ordered all year long through LC for Christmas, birthdays, and just because gifts for everyone she loved and to donate to total strangers. Brenda also enjoyed fishing and bingo. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with family. She was a true blessing to all who knew her. She fought the good fight to be a part of her loved ones on earth but received her true blessing when she was called home to meet her Lord. She always said the mountains and her home in Mississippi were her Heaven on Earth but now she is in her true Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Brenda is survived by her husband, Terry McDill, two daughters: Tonya Mendoza and husband Albert and Cassandra Looby and husband Justin, her 6 grandchildren: Tierra Mendoza, A.J. Mendoza, B.J. Mendoza, Branson Smith, Kaylee Smith Orrantia and husband Alex, and Sammy Dominquez, Jr., all of Dalhart, Texas., her 11 great grandchildren, her sisters: Sheryl Coppieters of Mantee, Mississippi, Deborah Creel of Tupalow, Mississippi, Jamie Porter of Dalhart, Texas, Michelle Ulschmid of Frazee, Minnesota and one brother, John Pope of Dalhart, Texas and her baby girl, Kela McDill.
