Bonnie M. Layman, 76, Saturday, December 5, 2009 in Amarillo, TXServices were held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church Dalhart, TX. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.Officiants were Rusty Hancock, Pastor Lincoln St. Baptist Church and Jimmy McNeill - First Assembly of God.Bonnie Mae Layman was born August 16, 1933 in Dalhart, Texas to Leland and Eva (Nickles) Firestone. Bonnie was a graduate of Dalhart High School and WT University. She met Clyde Layman in Canyon, Texas and they married on December 19, 1953. They made their home in Dalhart and then later established and operated the Corral RV Park for 48 years. She was a Mighty Prayer Warrior for her family and church. She was a Life Long member of the First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by three sons: Allen and wife Marsha of Dalhart, Stanley and wife Joni of Lebanon, PA, and Newton and wife Jennifer of Amarillo, two sisters: Vera Hancock and Linda Greenstreet both of Dalhart, one brother Lee and his wife LeGene Firestone of Antonito, CO. She is also survived by four grandsons, Two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren.Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter Robbie Nell.Family will gather at the Allan Layman home - On East First Street one-quarter mile east of Jefferson on the South Side of the highway. Memorials may be made to Assembly of God Church in Dalhart.
