Bonnie C. Dorsett, 53, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Dalhart, TXServices were held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery Dalhart Texas.Bonnie Colleen Jones was born January 24, 1959 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Marvin A and Nila (Roberson) Jones. She graduated from Dalhart High School in 1977. After graduation she married Jerry Dorsett, the love of her life. Together they raised three wonderful children - Sam, Sabrina and Sheena. For many years Bonnie helped her mother Nila Jones with the First Baptist Nursery. Bonnie loved being around young children and family and always helped with the Little Britches Rodeo during XIT. Later in life she was employed as assistant lead teller with First State Bank. She was a true Angel and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Bonnie is survived by her husband Jerry Dorsett of Dalhart, TX, a son Sam and his wife Amanda Dorsett of Dalhart, TX. Two daughters Sabrina Dorsett Shields of Hartley, TX and Sheena Dorsett of Austin, TX . Two brothers - Altus Jones and his wife Cheryl of Dalhart, TX and Jeromie Jones and his wife Robin of Hartley, TX. 1 granddaughter Haddlie Mae Shields, 6 Nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents.
