Bobby Hayes, 56, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Dalhart, TexasServices were held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXOfficiating was Bob McAlister, Retired Baptist Minister, Dalhart, Texas. Bobby Grant Hayes was born July 19, 1954 in Dalhart. He began his cowboy life at age fifteen and continued working with horses for years. Bobby volunteered with many 4-H horse clubs and shod horses as his kids were growing up and showing horses. He moved around the panhandle as a ranch hand, horse shoer and welder until settling back in Dalhart in 1989.His love for his children and grandchildren is forever. He will be missed by them and his best friend Buddy (his dog).Survivors include his Wife: Leslye Hayes of Dalhart, TX, Daughters: Brena and Ryon Perschbacher of Kiowa, KS, Lacye Hayes of Dalhart, TX, Mother: Bobbie Darlene Thompson of Dalhart, TX, Mother-in-law- Eula Fern Lindsey of Clayton, NM, and Jackie Fern Wardlaw of Dalhart, Texas, Sisters-in-law: Billye and Mike Viles of Borger, TX, Cindye and Jay Blackwell of Clayton, NM, Daughter-in-law: Heather Hayes of Nocona, TX, Grandchildren: Kate Perschbacher, Barkley and Laramie Hayes, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his Son Billy Hayes, Father, Earl Thompson, Fathers-in-law - Bill Wardlaw and Charles Lindsey.Memorials may be made to:Bobby Hayes Memorial Fund c/o First State Bank, dalhart, Texas
