Evans was born July 22, 1932 in Dawson County, GA to Sanford and Mattie (Andrews) Evans. Raised in Northern Georgia, he moved to Northern New Mexico in 1951, where he worked in the logging industry as a trucker for over 20 years. While in Northern New Mexico he met and married Ada Bell on September 16, 1957. They had 7 Children. Bobby moved to Nara Visa, NM in 1974 where he ranched for several years before retiring and moving to Tucumcari, NM. He came to Dalhart in 2002. Bobby was a member of the New Mexico Teamsters Union in Albuquerque, NM. An Atlanta Braves baseball fan, Bobby also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping and hunting.He is survived by - Sons: Lecil Evans of Dalhart, TX, Robert and his wife Sandra Evans of Nara Visa, NM.
