Bobbie Darlene Thompson, 84, died January 16, 2014 in Dalhart, TX.Graveside service were held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday January 18, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas- Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home in Dalhart, TX. Bobbie was born June 15, 1929 to George and Bertha Bell (Hudson) Hook in Dalhart, TX. In 1947 she graduated from Dalhart High School. July 15, 1960 Bobbie married Earl Glen Thompson, she worked for ten years as a telephone operator for General Telephone, and she then stayed home to be a housewife. Bobbie had a true love for all of her family, she spent the last eight years at Coon Memorial Nursing Home in Dalhart, TX were she enjoyed playing Bingo with everyone. She will be dearly missed by all.Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, son Bobby Hayes, grandson Billy Hayes, two Brothers, two sisters and her parents.Survivors include- Daughter-in-law Leslye Hayes of Dalhart, TX, Granddaughters- Brena Perschbacher and husband Ryon of Kiowa, KS, Lacye Smallwood and her husband Jordan of Dalhart, TX. Granddaughter-in-law Heather Hayes of Nocona, TX. Four Great-Grandchildren- Barkley and Laramie Hayes of Nocona, TX, Kate Perschbacher of Kiowa, KS, and Maegyn Smallwood of Dalhart, TX. One sister June Cleavinger and her husband Everett of Dalhart, TX. Also numerous Nieces and Nephews.
