O. and Wenona (McCray) Wardlaw. He became a cowboy at the early age of fifteen in eastern New Mexico. Billy then came back to the Panhandle and continued to work on various ranches around the area. He was an avid calf roper and enjoyed his horses as much as his children. His grandchildren were a big highlight in his life. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all. Survivors include his wife: Jackie Wardlaw of Dalhart, TX, Daughters: Billye And her husband Mike Viles of Borger, Texas, Cindye and her husband Jay Blackwell of Clayton, NM, Leslye and her husband Bobby Hays of Dalhart, Texas, Step-son: Doug and his wife Kellie Jo Poyner of Joshua, Texas, David and his wife Priscilla Poyner of Ft.
