Billy Combs, 69 of Dalhart, earned his heavenly wings March 8, 2022 at his home in Dalhart, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Senior Citizens Center with Gary Nelson officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Billy Dean Combs 69, of Dalhart Memorial services will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Billy was born in San Bernadino, California to Alfred and Rose Combs on February 7, 1953. He lived most of his life in Dalhart and attended school where He graduated from Dalhart High School. After high school he attended Amarillo College where he earned two degrees, but trucking was in his blood and what he loved. Billy retired from P-P Trucking in 2020. Billy loved life, family, and friends and always lived life to the fullest with his laugh and his wonderful smile. Billy is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Rose Combs, three brothers: Donald, James, and Freddie. He is survived by his wife Carol McLaughlin of Dalhart, Texas, sister Diane and husband Bobby Thomas of Dalhart, Texas, and brother Sonny Combs of Pampa, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
