Billie Runiez (Medcalf) Maples, 76, died of Pulmonary Fibrosis on August 16, 2020 in Dalhart, Texas. She will be interred at the Mexhoma Cemetery in the far western part of Cimarron County, Oklahoma. Billie (Medcalf) Maples was born August 8, 1944 in Kermit, Texas to Bill and Eunice Medcalf. Billie grew up in various towns in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. She graduated from Grandfalls High School. Billie worked for a bank in Plainview, Texas near her grandparent Kelleys home. Billie married Dennis Walker, moved to Pampa and then to White Deer. She worked for Pantex near Amarillo. On December 26, 2008, she married David Hutchison in Dalhart, Texas. Billie promptly retired from Pantex and moved to Dalhart from White Deer. Billie is survived by her husband David Hutchison of Dalhart, TX, one son, Kelley Wayne Walker of Plainview, TX, three step children; Stuart Hutchison of Mexhoma, OK, Carrie Coble Harrison of Angel Fire, NM and Brittany Davidson of Ulysses, KS, two granddaughters; Skylar Walker Kimmons and Keeley Walker Kimmons of Lubbock, TX, nine step grandchildren; Kyle, Kole and Kameron Hutchison of Mexhoma, OK, Jael, Harley and Easton Davidson of Ulysses, KS, and Asher, Eli and Delilah Coble Harrison of Angel Fire, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy (Bill) Medcalf of Coleman, TX, Eunice Kelley Bryant of White Deer, TX and a half-sister, Charlie Mae of Coleman, TX.
