Billie Guthrie, 70, died Friday, September 7th, 2007 in Amarillo, TXMemorial Services were held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas, Officiating was Brian Walton, Associate Pastor First Baptist Church, Dalhart, TXBillie L. Batis was born January 13th, 1937 in Dalhart Texas to Alvin and Freda (Pemberton) Batis. Billie grew up in Dalhart and was a member of the First Baptist church of Dalhart- Billie moved to Amarillo in 1990 and returned to Dalhart in 1997. She enjoyed Country music and dancing and enjoyed her annual trek to Duluth Minnesota to visit her daughter and grandchildren. She is survived by her Daughter- Judy Witte and grandchildren Julia Witte and Karl J. Witte all of Duluth, MN as well as a sister Helen Lowrey of Hartley, TX and many grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alton Lloyd Guthrie and 2 sisters.
