Bill Freeman, 74, of Dalhart died Saturday, July 4, 2009 in Amarillo, TXBilly Dean Freeman was born March 9, 1935 in Dalhart, TX to Jess and Bessie (Matthews) Freeman. Raised in Dalhart he graduated from Dalhart High in 1954. He married Melba Marie Arnold on September 30, 1974. Mr. Freeman worked for Dalhart Hardware and Bartlett Lumber for many years, as well as producing custom cattle feed. He was an accomplished artist and had begun a new hobby guitar. Bill Freeman had many interests, and a special passion for working with cattle.
