Beulah Unruh, 90, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Dalhart, TXFuneral services were held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Lakeview United Methodist Church, Dalhart, TX. Burial did follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart under the care of Horizon Funeral Home.Officiating will be Dottie Smith, Pastor of Lakeview United Methodist Church Beulah Lee was born April 25, 1927 in Ringwood, OK to W.H. and Ethel (Corby) Lee. Beulahs life as a caretaker for others began when she was 8 years old. In 1935 her mother died, and she helped raise her 3 younger siblings. On September 22, 1945 she married Harold Unruh. They moved to Texas after their sons were born and began farming. Their daughter was born 3 years later. Beulahs passion for caring for others continued as she taught Sunday School, provided meals for those in need and poured love, care and wisdom into her kids, grandkids and great grandkids until the moment she was called home. Beulah is survived by a son: C.J. Unruh and wife Barbara of Dalhart, TX, a daughter Linda Gayle (Unruh) White and husband Doug of Dalhart, TX, a daughter in law Judy Unruh of Texhoma. 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.Beulah is preceded in death by her husband Harold Unruh, her parents, a son Gary Lee Unruh, a granddaughter Nikki E. Unruh, 2 sisters: Ella Unruh and Laura Harmon and a brother W.E. (BUD) Lee.
