Beulah Gordon, 85, died on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Amarillo, TX. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church - burial did follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TX. Under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX Officiating: Billy Rammage, Texline, Texas. Beulah P. Knotts was born October 7, 1932 in Farley, NM to Lester and Lena (Vandiver) Knotts. Beulah grew up in the Perico and Texline area and married Bob Gordon January 7, 1949 in Clayton, NM. They ranched in New Mexico before moving to Dalhart. Beulah was a great cook and received recognition by the NM Cattle Feeders Assoc. for her sour dough bread and her homemade Chili. After Bobs death in 1983, Beulah began her career as a caretaker for others. Many families were blessed by her helping hand, gentle heart and kind eyes. She is Survived by her 2 sons: Hardy and his wife Patsy Gordon of Dalhart, Texas,& Harvey Gordon of Dalhart, TX. 2 daughters: Tina Gustin and her husband Cleve of Canyon, TX and Betty Gordon Chase of her husband Jeff of Perryton, TX 1 brother: Ralph Knotts of Clayton, NM and a sister Ginger McEvers of Dalhart, TX. 6 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren Preceded in death: - her husband Bob, and her parents Funeral Service First Baptist Church Tuesday, March 20, 2018 2:00 PM 1000 E 16th.
