Betty Parr,78, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 in Dalhart, TX Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church of Dalhart with Rusty Hancock, Pastor of Lincoln Street Baptist Church and Bob McAllister, Pastor to Sr. Adults at First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery Elizabeth May Betty Reynolds was born January 12, 1930 in Dalhart, Texas to Raymon and Nellie (Ringo) Reynolds. Betty grew up in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1947. She attended Draughons Business College and on October 9, 1948 she married Monty Parr. Betty and Monty lived in Lubbock before returning to Dalhart in 1953. Betty was an active member of the Lincoln Street Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School working as the Church Clerk and Prayer Chain leader. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - Betty and Monty just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Survivors include her husband Monty Parr of Dalhart Son: Steve Parr and his wife Marcia of Amarillo, TX daughters Janei Fetzer and her husband Charles of Amarillo, TX and Jami Parr of Dalhart, TX brothers: R.B.
