Betty Gene Mitchamore was born October 16, 1940 in Brenham, Texas to Emery and Carrie (Rankin) Mitchamore. She grew up in Brenham and attended Blinn College in Brenham. Betty was an administrative assistant at Coon Memorial Nursing Home for 20 years. Her caring nature and love for people helped her form many fond friendships with the residents and family members. Betty loved her family and was their greatest supporter. Survivors include her husband of over 27 years, Robert Dunlap of Dalhart, TX, daughters Karen and her husband Tracy Howell of Dalhart, TX Leah and her husband Jason Wolcott of Dalhart, TX.A sister Shirley McIntyre and her husband Earl of Brenham, TX and a Brother Emery Eugene Mitchamore, JR. and wife Kathy of Leander, TX 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.Betty is preceded in death by her parents.
