Betty Arlene Crowell, 77, died Monday, July 17, 2006 in Dalhart, Texas.Graveside Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating was George Chambers Pastor of the Lakeview United Methodist Church in Dalhart.Betty Arlene Crowell was a life long resident of Dalhart, Texas she died Monday, July 17, 2006 at Coon Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 15, 1929 in Dalhart, Texas to George R. and Bertha Bell (Hudson) Hook. She graduated from Dalhart High School in 1947. She worked in numerous service oriented occupations throughout her life. She was a dearly loved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be missed very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, and her daughter- Glena Sue CreelSurvivors include her children- Karen & Denny OHara of Amarillo, TX, Mickie & Jerry Hunter of Dalhart, TX, Debbie & Tim Daily of Dalhart, TX & Jill Mathews of Amarillo, TX. 4 Sisters: Blanche Hawkins, Bobby Darlene Thompson- her twin sister & June Cleavenger of Dalhart, TX, and Lois Smith of Tulsa, OK Grandchildren: Marcie & Greg Williams, Shawn Poyner, Chad Poyner, Sharesa & Collin McCartt, Melissa Bush, Lacynda Hunter, Craig & Rachel Hunter, Kristin & Brad Holt, Jennifer Dailey & - 20 Great-Grandchildren Family will be gathering at her home at 1009 Oak in Dalhart, TX.
