Bernice G. Walts - 83, died Friday, October 29, 2004 in Dalhart, Texas Graveside Services were held on Monday, November 1, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Fairmount Cemetery, in San Angelo, Texas. Officiating was Freddy Lewis Crenshaw, (Close Family Friend) of Commanche, TX.Bernice Geneve Scott was born October 29, 1921 in Knox County, TX to John Nathaneal & Linnie M. (Martin) Scott. Bernice was the youngest of 15 children. She worked for Troy and Model Laundries in San Angelo as a presser for many years. She married W. F. Walts in the spring of 1958. Then moved to Limestone County, Mart, TX. Where she and W. F. worked on Farms and Ranches until Aug. of 1972. Bernice moved to Dalhart, TX in July of 1990. She had been a resident of Coon Memorial Nursing home for the past 6 years. She loved to cook for family. Bernice was a very loving and caring Sister, Mother & Grandmother. She is survived bya son -David & his wife Teresa Scott of Colt, Arkansas A daughter - Rosalind (Lynn) Evans of Dalhart, Texas A sister - Linnie Mae Parker of Midland, TX A brother: Roy Scott of San Angelo, TX Grandchildren: Daesha Ivey of Colcord, OK, Jason ONeal of Dalhart, TX, David S. Scott-Stationed at Bitburg, Germany & Letisha Walts of Dalhart, TX & 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded by her - husband W. F. Walts, 8 Brothers, 4 Sisters & 1 Grandchild.
