Benigna Cancino , 54, died at her home on Monday, June 15, 2009Services were held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 17 2009 in her home at 1205 Channing. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart, TX Petra Alvarado was born April 30,1955 in Durango, Mexico to Higinio and Rita (Barron) Alvarado. She married Valentin Cancino in June of 1971. They came to Dalhart in 1977. Benigna was a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses. Her flowers and music provided much joy, but her many children and grandchildren living close by, were her greatest love. Benigna is survived by her husband Valentin Cancino of Dalhart, TX Sons: Martin, Hugo, and Valentin Jr. and her daughters: Rita, Estella, Erica, Esmeralda, and Ruby all of Dalhart, TX. 22 grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters: Paula, Maria, Maye`, Licha, Samuel, Juan and Nacho all of Mexico.
